Editorial Policies of the Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS)

1. Academic Integrity

JLPCS adheres to the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited. All submissions must be original and must not be under review elsewhere.

2. Peer Review

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript will be evaluated by at least two independent experts based on its academic merit, originality, methodology, and writing quality.

3. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently based on the scholarly quality and relevance of the submission to the journal's aims and scope. Editors operate free from external influences, including those of sponsors or funders.

4. Authors’ Rights

Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting JLPCS the right of first publication. All published articles will be distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license. Authors are permitted to self-archive in accordance with the license terms.

5. Conflict of Interest

Editors, reviewers, and authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest. The editorial team will take appropriate actions to maintain the fairness and impartiality of the review and publication process.

6. Confidentiality

The editorial office strictly maintains the confidentiality of all manuscripts, author identities, and reviewer identities throughout the review and publication process.

7. Retractions and Corrections

In cases of significant error, plagiarism, or academic misconduct discovered after publication, JLPCS reserves the right to retract, correct, or issue statements of concern in accordance with international publishing ethics standards.

8. Publishing Ethics Compliance

JLPCS adheres to the ethical guidelines set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors).
