Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Conduct a fair, objective, and timely review based on the scholarly merits of the submission.

  • Provide constructive, clear, and respectful feedback to help improve the manuscript.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript and review process.

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect the impartiality of the review.

  • Refrain from using manuscript content for personal advantage.

Review Process

  • JLPCS operates a double-blind peer review system: the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.

  • Reviewers are generally expected to complete their reviews within 3–4 weeks.

  • Reviewers are asked to recommend one of the following decisions:

    • Accept without revisions

    • Accept with minor revisions

    • Major revisions required

    • Reject

Evaluation Criteria

  • Originality and significance of the research

  • Rigor of theoretical framework and methodology

  • Clarity and coherence of writing

  • Accuracy of references (compliance with APA 7th Edition style)

  • Relevance to the scope of JLPCS
