About the Journal

Overview

Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) is an international, peer-reviewed, fully electronic open access journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research across the humanities, arts, and social sciences.
GRHAS provides a scholarly platform for critical inquiry, theoretical innovation, and cultural reflection on both historical and contemporary transformations.
Editorial operations are conducted globally through a distributed team under the coordination of the Panorama Scholarly Group, headquartered in Berlin, Germany.

Aims and Scope

GRHAS publishes original research articles, theoretical explorations, reviews, case studies, and critical dialogues from a wide range of fields, including but not limited to:

• Humanities and Cultural Studies: literature, philosophy, history, digital humanities, postcolonial theory;

• Arts and Creative Disciplines: visual arts, performance, film, musicology, digital arts;

• Social and Global Studies: sociology, anthropology, political theory, urban studies, globalization;

• Media, Technology, and Communication: media studies, linguistics, digital platforms, science and technology studies (STS);

• Emerging and Interdisciplinary Fields: gender studies, environmental humanities, migration, pedagogy.

The journal encourages contributions that bridge theoretical depth with empirical insight and foster intercultural and transdisciplinary engagement.

Editorial and Review Policy

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, evaluated based on:

• Originality and contribution to scholarship;

• Methodological rigor and conceptual clarity;

• Coherence, structure, and readability;

• Compliance with ethical and citation standards.

GRHAS adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Guidelines for best practices in academic publishing.
The peer review and editorial processes are fully conducted through digital platforms to support our global editorial operations.

Frequency and Open Access Model

• Publication Frequency: Bimonthly (6 issues per year).

• Open Access Policy: All journal content is freely accessible without any paywalls or subscription barriers.

• License: Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, allowing sharing for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution and without modifications.

• Publication Mode: GRHAS is a fully digital publication with no print edition.

The journal is actively expanding its visibility and reach:

• Application planned for inclusion in DOAJ;
