Open Access Policy
Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) is committed to promoting the free circulation of academic knowledge through a fully open access (OA) publishing model. All published articles are freely and permanently accessible online without any subscription or paywall.
1. Open Access Statement
All articles published in GRHAS are immediately available in open access format upon official publication. We believe that knowledge should transcend barriers and serve both the academic community and the public at large.
2. Copyright and Licensing
GRHAS applies the following copyright and licensing policy:

Author retains copyright: Authors retain full copyright of their work;

GRHAS holds the exclusive first-publication right: Upon acceptance, authors grant GRHAS the right to first publish and disseminate their article;

License type: All articles are published under the [Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)] license.
Under this license:

Others may copy, distribute, and share the work for non-commercial purposes;

Proper attribution must be given to the original author and source (GRHAS);

The work may not be modified, adapted, translated, or used for commercial purposes in any form.
3. Self-Archiving Policy
GRHAS encourages authors to deposit and share their articles under the following conditions:

Allowed versions: Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) and Version of Record (VoR);

Archiving platforms: Institutional repositories, funding agency repositories, personal academic websites, or scholarly platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu);

Requirement: The deposited version must clearly indicate that the article was originally published in GRHAS, with a full citation and DOI link.
4. Archiving and Long-Term Access
To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility of published content, GRHAS is archived in recognized digital preservation networks:

LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
These systems guarantee perpetual access even in cases of technical failure or platform migration.
5. Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support editorial processes, peer review, DOI registration, and digital infrastructure, GRHAS charges an Article Processing Fee (APC) for accepted submissions. Detailed rates are available in the “APC Policy” section. Discounts are available for students and authors from low- and middle-income countries to ensure fair participation.
6. Commercial Use and Special Permissions
Any third-party use beyond the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license including:

Commercial publication or redistribution;

Translation, adaptation, or modification;

Use in paid platforms or educational materials
must obtain prior written permission from the editorial office.
