Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) is an open access journal committed to providing sustainable, high-quality academic publishing. To support peer review, editorial work, digital production, DOI registration, and platform maintenance, a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is required for each accepted submission.

2. Tables, Figures, and Image Handling

All APCs include:

  • Formatting and numbering for up to five tables or figures;

  • Basic image optimization and layout alignment;

  • Standard copyright/source indication.

Only in cases of exceptional volume or complexity (e.g., full-color image sets, video embedding, layout-intensive design) will the editorial team contact authors to discuss optional technical support. GRHAS does not charge extra for regular layout services, ensuring cost clarity and a smooth publishing experience.

3. Waiver & Support Policy

GRHAS supports equitable access to publishing. Authors may request full or partial waivers if they:

  • Are affiliated with low-income or lower-middle-income countries (per World Bank);

  • Are current students or independent researchers with no grant funding.

Requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and include documentation. All waivers are subject to editorial approval before acceptance.

4. Payment and Refunds

APCs are invoiced only after final manuscript acceptance. Authors must complete payment within 14 days via:

  • Bank transfer,

  • PayPal,

  • International credit card (via secure platform).

Refunds are available in cases of:

  • Duplicate payments,

  • Editorial or technical errors preventing publication,

  • Special approval from the Editor-in-Chief.

Published articles are non-refundable.

5. Institutional & Grant Support

Authors are encouraged to confirm whether their institutions or funding bodies offer APC coverage. Many universities and funders support open access publishing, including through Plan S, UNESCO OA, and other initiatives.

Official invoices or confirmation letters are available upon request.
